Party for 19 a success!

My mom's party on Sat. turned out great!  We had an awesome time.  Wish we could do it more often.  My cousin and her new husband came from Montreal and my Aunt and Uncle (her parents) were here from Chicoutimi visiting my parents.  We always have so much fun together.  I hope we can do it again at Christmas - I am looking forward to a different kind of Christmas this year with us staying home for the 1st time EVER!

What a scrapin' good time I had!

Hello mes amies!  What an awesome weekend I had!  I went away to Cornwall with my friend Julie to spend the weekend at a Crop.  I really enjoyed getting to know the scrapbooking ladies more!  We spent all afternoon Friday, went to bed at 2:30 up again to scrap at 7:30 then 3 other ladies and I actually stayed up to see the time change on Sat.!  Once it hit 2am we went Yahoo we can scrap for another hour!  I went to bed at 3am old time and was up at 7:30 new time!  I did not complete as many "layouts" as my fellow scrapbookers but as you all know I am a very social scrapbooker or in other words - I talk alot!  I did complete the Basic Grey calander on Sat.  Yes it took me all day!  For anyone of my friends who has completed one you understand why it took me all day!  Let's just say I have un-gifted it from my Mother this morning and have decided to keep it for myself as I am pretty sure I will never create another one...  I also created a mini album for my Mom's birthday this week and a Christmas gift for a friend and a double 12X12 layout.  I will post pictures as soon as I take some!  So that's what my weekend looked like!  I fell asleep at 8pm last night and man did I need it!  Today it is sunny and beautiful so I decided to wash all my windows inside, now to convince Brian to wash the outside!  Big party this Sat at my house for my Mom's birthday.  We will be 19 and then after dinner 24!  That includes 8 kids!  Thankfully my Mom is making dinner (I know weird, but she really wants to make it!)  I just need to clean, clean, clean!  Guess what I'll be doing Friday?  So off to finish my windows - See ya!

Yup - I actually did it!

Well hello!  I never thought I would actually have a blog of my own one day!  I have decided to create one so I can post some of my scrapbooking creations.  You need a blog to do that!  For those of you who know me, you know there won't be much for me to post everyday so I may only be a part-time blogger.  I say that now but those who know me also know I love to "chat"!
